As the beautiful music filled the air, I was mesmerized by the dances that erupted. They moved as we do but with far more meaning. They danced with a passion as if it was their last. So beautiful an energy and so very clear that this dance continues to define our resilience and who we are as a proud people. Equally as intriguing was their creative costumes. I was hypnotically engaged with their designs to mock the system and free the soul. it truly was a site to behold as they danced and raved in a sea of magnificent color.
